The Outdoorsmen RV series is designed for a slide in truck campers with a center mounted door and an OEM, class III, rated, 2 inch, hitch receiver at the edge of the camper. (Extended truck campers with “stinger” extensions to the hitch receivers may not work with Steplite products please review these applications thoroughly?) The Outdoorsmen RV series has all the features of the outdoorsmen plus the advantage deeper platform. The RV step/platform is larger then the Outdoorsmen series with a platform dimensions of 22 x 22 inch, which allows for a small landing to enter and exit the camper door. The step is approximately halfway between the ground and the cargo bed. A license plate holder and light is provided incase the Steplite covers up existing vehicle license plate holders. The additional convenience of rear mounted halogen flood lamps helps illuminate that campsite when you are backing into the area at night or searching for that lost item. The lights are controlled by a three position switch to allow you to choose the lighting option you desire. (Lights on when vehicle is in reverse, lights off, or lights on) The lights are mounted on a swivel to allow the user to direct the angle of light as needed. The dressed up and rugged appearance of the stainless steel light panel and the cross tube helps individualize the looks of your truck camper. A red LED center brake light is added for additional brake lighting. The 7 way trailer style electrical plug matches up to most OEM trailer wiring outlets. You can still tow your trailer with the Class III hitch!
